I've gotta say, this is the first time that I actually laughed out loud at a game trailer. I'm not going to spoil anything for you, but this is probably the best game trailer I've ever seen.

By the way, The Orange Box is going to be awesome. HL2, HL2 Episode 1, HL2 Episode 2, Portal and TF2, all for the price of a regular game. Talk about an awesome value for your money! I've already played HL2 (and episode 1), but I'll gladly pay for them again to play them with the settings maxed out and with a perfect framerate rather than on my crappy old PC with low-med settings and a chuggy framerate.

Play.com has it being released on 5th of October

I reckon it will be more towards the end of October, but here's hoping.

This pack is the best value game around

way to go

I just hope that HL2/Ep1/Ep2 have the same sort of save structure as Bioshock. Letting ME save when I want to save is a must. I hate frickin checkpoints.

If it is checkpoints then Im gonna get Episode 2 for my PC and buy the orange box just to play Team Fortress 2 online

Cause theese are ported versions from PC (HL2,HL2:EP1) - so 99% saving will be normal (Pc like - save when you want). At least it must be like that.

P.S. I gonna buy Russian PC version of Orange box (No HL2 and HL2:EP1 included) cause I allready have them on steam.

I agree it should be my right to save whenever the hell I want to save; don't even get me started on checkpoints.

This game looks great and seeing as I was not old enough to play HL2 when it first came out I can not wait to play it.

For those already in posession of HLČ and HLČ-E1.

When you buy the complete Orange Box,
you will be able to give a licence for HLČ and HLČ-E1 AWAY FOR FREE to a friend of yours.

He will then be able to download them through steam and be able to play them for as long as Steam lives :)

So it wouldn't be a completely lost purchase.

There's a problem. Orangebox - only 1 activation key for all that included. (Cause All their Packs ("HL2 Game of the year edition" for example) were like that.)

And for example on my steam acc I have not only HL2 + HL2:EP1, But CS:S,HL:Source, HL2:DM e.t.c.

That's a bit of a problem for your present :D But I live in Russia - and we will have 2 Orange Boxes (exept collectible ones) Full O.B. and O.B. without HL2 and HL2:EP1. So I'll buy cheaper one.

yeah they were suppose to come out with a "Black Box" that had only Ep2, TF2, and Portals. But scraped it so that you can actually give HL2 and Ep1 away to spread the joy and love that Half Life has to offer. In my opinion i think its a great idea.
