Ok, so has anyone turned in their old console to get the new HDMI version?

Did you notice a difference?

hey man, ive gone from my premium to the elite,

you wont really notice much difference with the HDMI unless your tele has a better native resolution.

i can notice a slight difference with mine on HDMI. the picture just looks that extra bit more sharp.

My HD TV does not have HDMI so I have not bothered - I'm using the VGA cable.

It all just rely's on what your tele can do the best on, as it wont just be such as 720p native for everything.
every component within the tv will have a different one.
such as my tele has a better hdmi then vga. so obviously it'd be best for me to use the hdmi in my tv.
but obviously if say you had the same native on both component and hdmi it'd be best to go with hdmi due to it being a digital signal. + its stupidly easier to set up,

If you have a 720p TV I would say not to bother with HDMI. I spent the last 7 months selling tvs and hooking them up. HDMI and Component video are pretty much the same on a 720TV.... now if you have a 1080P TV I would go HDMI hands down... you really can see the difference.
