After more than 37 shows, not counting more than a dozen Humpday Updates, and this is my favorite. I have to warn you that things get really ridiculous on this episode, but it's also the purest picture of how crap happens here at Sarcastic Gamer. Loving the dead rising complaints :) I am playing it at the moment and was so gutted when those bastards came back. They do stop coming back by the end of the second day though which is a relief. The easiest way to kill them that I have found is to hide behind one of the big trees until they run into it and get stuck.

Then you shoot the gunner in the face. When he is dead go and tear the machinegun off the back of the jeep and use it to ace the other two. The machine gun on the jeep has to be one of the most awesome guns in the game :D

I totally agree about the aiming being useless. Not being able to aim on the move sucks big time. If they ever do a sequel they need to fix this.

The intended message, whenever on purpose or not, definitely got diluted in my eyes.

It seems to hook into a bigger pattern too. Between site surveys, playswitch, regular shoutouts to itunes reviews, t-shirts, the boycott, and now ringtones, it seems like there is an increased push for exposure and revenue. I don't know if this is an oft-product of the site creators working in radio, but it's become a lot more noticeable as time has gone on.

The only way I know how to draw attention to a problem is to draw attention to it. Not silently sitting by and saying to no one in particular, hey I don't like that. As for the increasing push for revenue, I'm sorry you feel that way, but this site, the content, the time and the podcasts cost money. Real dollars. Nothing is free in life. Ultimately, this site and revenue generated by the site iss never going to supplant our current jobs, but if we can earn money by producing worthwhile content, that people want, why begrudge us that?

I'm kinda late to the whole 360 party because I got it last christmas and just got Dead Rising a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to get used to the controls.

I'm fairly early into the game. Just had my first boss battle with that crazy guy you meet at the beginning of the game.

Hurrah for Doc and Gripshift! Its a fab wee game thats as close as you can get to trackmania on a console. Its Mario 64 of.... driving games. I bought it on PSN and and then XBLA when it came out for the better pad/extra stuff ^_^ Once you get used to the handling and the way it plays its easily one of the top 5 XBLA games.

Get a pistol, run behind a tree and when they crash into it take out the gunner or driver from your woodland safety. That massive machinegun you can rip off the back will make mincemeat out of any boss you ever have trouble with later and its a handy net to fall back on.

Lono. Dead Rising. There's a way to keep chainsaws for 27 times longer than normal.

Get three books -- engineering, entertainment, and bladed weapons. All three increase the time by 3x, and they stack. Only problem is that it only works on the super-happy-fun chainsaws that the psycho clown carries around. They respawn. Infinite chainsaw.
