See you are blessed with the beta too. Its perty much amazing. I love the radar perk where you cant be seen on the radar. The only thing that i dont like is that there is alot of CAMPING. Its really the only thing about the game that i dont like. I never noticed the having shitty wepons in the begining. I started playing the night they opened the beta.

This has to be some of the funnest multiplayer I have ever played.

I am really enjoying it. I like that you can join a random game and you can keep playing with those people round after round. That has always been one of my problems with Rainbow Six Vegas, that if you play ranked matches you get kicked out after the round is over and you don't get to really meet people. I also like the leveling system. It's easy to gain rank and you unlock attachments for weapons just by using them. Last Stand is a son of a bitch though :P

Are you registered with gamespot? (you need at least to be registered. no paid subscription is necessary).

maybe there a no more codes left. they will release more tomorrow as far as I know.

or... they may just have been overrun and the code DB is down (or something like that).

right. no paid subscription is necessary. I got my key also without a paid subscription.

It was filefront with the quake wars beta, wich gave the first 50k (or so) keys only to subscribers. gamespot is pretty liberal in regard to things like this. Thats why I canceled my subscription a year ago.

Yesterday it would not work for me in Firefox. I had to switch rendering engines to IE (right click) - then it worked fine.

Yeah, COD4 Beta is sick, but I hope they fix the lag problems that I have seen or some people are goin to get real upset.

CoD4 Beta sucks. I had problems with it after downloading it on Monday (with all the Live trouble that day) so I had to delete it and re-download it (via download history) - things seemed better after that. Then I started playing at about 5pm and it sucked until about 1am. It sucked so bad it "ruined" my appetite and I never ate dinner. It sucked so much I've ranked up to 15th already.

Yes, I'm being Sarcastic. Where are we after all???

Woot! Call of Duty 4 Beta rules!! I cant wait for it to come out, I guess Halo 3 will have to hold me over till then.

I just started playing the Beta today (was busy last night even though I had it downloaded). Got to level 16 just 30 minutes ago.

The game reminds me a lot of Battlefield, but is faster-paced. Although I was actually expecting it to be so much like Battlefield anyway that I was surprised how much like Call of Duty 3 the game is. The exact same style of (good) graphics, very similar art design on the maps, and a lot of gameplay similarities.

All in all, I really like the game. The map balance seems fine, though I have particular gripes with Crash. I always seem to get spawned right in the heat of crossfire.

The ending date of sept 30th was rather sudden :S especially as one of the team said it may even go up to the release date on Major Nelson's podcast.

there's going to be atleast 60 levels in the real game. (cant find the link but yer)

and there raising the play cap to 25 sometime this week to use guns like the G3.

Nope not realy. I'm playing it and it is the only thing i can do to pass the time waiting for Halo 3. (heh love that game I guess i'm a fanboy) The graphics are good and game play is great.
