Is it just me, or is the front page not loading? Also, every few pages I navigate on here wont load, but when I refresh them, it's fine. The internet confuses me.

That's because the server is trying to serve too many people at once, and using up all the cache (I think that's the term). If you refresh it, you're re-submitting your request to the server, which gives you a better chance of loading the page.

Think of it like a line of people at a gate. Only so many can make it through at once, and you have to wait your turn. If someone drops out of line (leaves) then you're free to move up.

Dude, you jinxed me. I now encounter the problem every other page or so, and it takes about 3 refreshes to fix it. :(

Ironically I encountered it when clicking on this thread.

Server problem maybe? Although Im sure the SG servers have been far busier before without any of these problems. Maybe the hosters are having a bad day.

Someday if they don't upgrade the server, the only server will blow up, with a graphics card stuck in Lono's skull, Doc fleeing to Mexico, rothbart hiding under his desk and Captain DDL sobbing. That happened to IGN once.

Yeah, it's better today. Probably just a quirk weekend thing.

same here,but only on this page,every other website I visit is working fine.

It happened me for a couple hours yesterday, it sucked because I couldn't get on :(

It kicked me back to the main page just now.

We'll be updating the server situation within the next two weeks, just bear with our growing pains...
