Recently, my local public transportation system has introduced a wireless network on all of their long-distance buses and trains. Great, right? The only problem is that they use a "nanny" web censorship program called SurfontheSafeSide, which recognizes SG.com as having "spam urls" (proof) (http://www.surfonthesafeside.com/secure/blockpage.asp?basictype=block&epochseconds=1208185837&requestedurl=http%3A%2F%2Fsarcasticgamer.com%3A80% 2Fwp%2F&categorylist=171&categorydescriptionlist=Spam%20Email%20URLs&useripaddress=70.6.159.7&username=anonymous&actiontaken=block&actionreason=by-category&actionreasondata=171&replayhash=F5lxtTUE3W6psDYqfJhi6g%3D%3D).
Now, in order to access the site, I get to use an online proxy service to access the site. Really brings me back to my dial-up days.
Is there anything that the site can do to get removed from the block list?

Are you useing a laptop on the bus, or leaching from your house?

I'm using my laptop on the bus. I commute about 3 hours total every day.
I have no issues accessing the site at home or at school, but the local network on the bus uses that "nanny" program. I'm not to technically savvy, so there might be something I'm overlooking.
Technically, I'm violating the DoT's public internet user agreement by circumventing the filter, but "spam urls"? That's got to be wrong.

What does it say if you try to access Hotmail or Gmail?

I can access hotmail just fine. Same goes for Bungie.net and a bunch of other sites. Next time I'm on the bus I'll check some other Gamercast Network sites.
I did submit a review of this site, but I doubt it'll produce anything...
Edit: It doesn't block ANY of the other Gamercast Network sites, nor does it block any blogs I visit. (Even though I hear about Lono's blog all the time, I've never actually found it :) )

Wow, that was gay. Never trust parental block softwares created by overprotective parents/nannies.
About SarcasticGamer.com, it barely has any spam, the most it has is some ads about SarcasticGamer t-shirts, I suggest it be unblocked. Yeah, sure it contains some swearing and a forum that you parents think is like myspace, but that does not mean its "poisoning" our youth. I know I'll get an email wrote by a robot or no response, but I'm just sayin, "parental block" software made by over protective parents/nannies should not be trusted.
I sent them an email.
