Who would have believed the difference a week can make. Monday, we were asking you to reach out to major websites and get them involved in your boycott of Bad Company. Today, we're looking back at a groundbreaking effort that brought change to both a game, and the way that smaller sites are viewed when dealing with major publishers. During the boycott, Joystiq's Justin McElroy made a few remarks that left several of us sort of scratching our heads. Lono had a minor stroke.
Today, Justin joins us to set the record straight, defend his remarks, and share some insight on how your boycott effort appeared to the larger sites. While we might not have totally agreed with Justin's opinion, we found a lot of common ground.

WOW you actually got Justin McElroy he's like Joystick Jesus. Not to be too surprised but he dose seam sort of above Lono(not Dave or Doc tho, there Internet Legends).

Yeah I woke up at 7am went out to PC world and bought a new router (my old one wasn't working so I couldn't get one online and my only choice was to head to PC world and buy one for £70 i found online for for £50) I got back home at around 8 am installed my router and browsed the Internet for around half an hour. Then I got a little board so i decided to play some cod4, turrend on my 360 to find Doc, Dave, Lono and Animthaias still playing cod4 on the gamer night. I jumped in to say hi, then I had a great time ;)

I laughed so much at Dave's impression of Cartman and the ending. :D

Clarky we've never hatefully insulted anyone in our community. We are rahter "locker room" especially on gamer night.... but haven't said anything to you we wouldn't say to each other.

We pushed the show early because we need to let the folks who only listen and don't visit the site know to stop emailing the other sites. The Resistance was still operating without a cause.

Sorry Doc and Lono I wasent cleer, I was trying to be funny in the style of volkoves "big article" (ramble on senselessly for as long as you can) well im lazy so i only managed the churn out one paragraph. But I did think it was kind of oveous when I said "screw you guys im going home" I know its evaryone just having a laugh. But I do still hate Lono and luv you doc... :tongue:

Lol, the Cartman thing was ironic, because I had been watching clips of Cartman on youtube all morning before I listened to the show.

That was the best Dave take us out ever. He actually sounding like Cartman he was just missing one thing though. "I'm gonna kick her in the balls!!"-Cartman every South Park episode ever.
