You don't get much more retro than Megaman. I'm not talking about these new fangled EXE or Star Force ones. I'm talking about the classics. Where you move left, right, jump, and fire your way through a stage and fight a boss at the end.

I recently started playing back through the Megaman games and decided to post this poll. So vote! Which Megaman game is your favorite?

I decided to put every part of the original series up, including 8 since it stayed true to the roots, along with the X series which is by all means a classic.

X4 was actually my first game. Ever. Played the hell out of it. Had my own system and order to play in. It was AWESOME!

How can you not pick X-4. You could play as X or Zero. The story and weapons you had changed depending on who you used. It had the best boss in any of the megaman games.

Not diminishing the quality of X 4, but 3 is a classic that stands up to this day. Introduced the slide mechanic, had an awesome assortment of bosses with no really 'useless' weapons, and music that plays in my head daily. ;)
