you would use:
<a href = "http://google.com">What text you want the link to say</a>

That should get an effect similar to this:
What text you want the link to say (http://google.com)

Substitute the google URL and link text for whatever you want.

If you want to hide a URL so people can't see the end destination, use TinyUrl (www.tinyurl.com).

Example of the end result:
End Result (http://tinyurl.com/3cmfdy)

...what's "Smouch.net"? I didn't get past the "Getting data from Smouch.net" warning on my status bar.

aw.. it must have gone away. It was a very annoying rickroll that took your browser for a joyride. I think I showed it to you once :)

This should be in the support/feedback area...

Anyways, I was wondering how you get tinyurl, and if there is any way of knowing if other people have used it...

I got rick rolled about 6 times a day for a week... I actually bought the song because of the excessive rick-rolling. I like the song now...

Viatrophy, link (http://url.com).

Here (http://sarcasticgamer.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode) is the list of all bbCode tags.
