I have not heard any news about a VC or XBL arcade version of Killer Instinct.

I would buy Killer Instinct if Rare made the game available on Live Arcade.

I have Killer Instinct 2 on my PS3. Yay for Linux :)

I hope Rare's next project is Killer Instinct 3 for 360 after they finish Banjo 3.

I would kill for a Killer Instinct gold to be released as an XBL game. Or... I'll go pick up a N64 with it.

MMmmmm Jago on Orchid action.

Still play both Killer Instinct on the SNES and KI:Gold on the N64 to this day.

I remember dropping mucho dinero into this machine back in my arcade days .... Orchid all the way!

What is the highest combo you've ever seen? I saw a guy take Orchid and in one combo take the other person's power all the way down to nothing. It was awe inspiring.

This game was so awesome back in the day. I loved beating the crap out of people with Spinal (undead ftw!). Don't think it'll ever come out on VC though. I believe it was made by Rare, which is now owned (and being destroyed) by Microsoft. Along with many other great Rare games, don't hold your breath on seeing them remade/reborn anytime in the future... *sigh*

I loved Killer Instinct Gold. Which was basically KI:2. I enjoyed it because you could break the combos and use different moves to counter others and begin combos. It wasn't a simple button smasher, but unfortunately, you could still do it (button mashing) and still get away with a few good combos. Loved that SGI look.
