My iTunes is tripping in the fact that it shows no new update so I'm just going to download the MP3. Also, that Podcast servey is hilarious when it gets down to questions like "How would you rate the hosts views on Insurance? Restaurants? Automotive? Pets? Cigarettes?" lol

I do agree that it's stupid to have the Commando 553 unlocked straight away - it means I haven't even tried using a different assault rifle and I'm at least half way trough the game.

I also found it stupid that anything you pick up in game isn't added to your inventory. I like the shield/desert eagle combo but coz I picked one up early on I can't put it down if I want to carry on using it. It means I'm using the same weapon through out the whole game - yawn! :shocked:

I got no one to blame but myself coz I played a preview copy, had reservations about it being R6V1.5 and still bought it. I was mainly attracted by the co-op but I wish they just made the original game into co-op and added new levels.

Hehe I don't smile. It just doesn't work for my face...


IMO if people want to boost then so what, their skill doesn't increase with their rank. Nothing is more fun than destroying an Elite while being a Staff Sargent.

Yeah, my iTunes is giving me crap about no new episode. Hopefully, it'll detect it before I leave.

No not really Lono but it was pretty damn funny you bashing (i am really pissed at you for that) Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and as usual top marks for a great podcast intermission. Great Ep you guys.

I have to disagree with you, Lono, on your R6V2 rant, in particular about the multiplayer maps. V1 had 3 maybe 4 good maps: Streets, Kill House Redux, LVU Campus (which was merely adequate) and maybe Neon Graveyard. V2 has quite a few balanced maps that have lots of cover spots, lots of areas to shoot through cover at enemies, etc.

While I am a R6 fanboy, I believe I can specify the difference between R6V (both 1 and 2) and CoD4 as far as multiplayer goes:

R6 is more 'set up and wait' where as CoD4 is more run-n-gun. For an old fart like me (I'm 41, after all), the tactical planning is more exciting than the 'run out and get shot' of CoD4. Don't ge me wrong, I don't suck at CoD4, I got up to level 25 fairly quickly, before I gave up on the game to go back to R6V1. But the style of play just doesn't suit me. And obviously, R6V2 doesn't suit Lono.

So, Lono, you're DEAD to me! Do you hear me! DEAD!

Rants usually rule, just Lono's voice isn't exactly pleasing to me so I zoned out in hopes that it would end soon! I am gonna go visit the "Me and my shirt" forum and post apic of me as soon as I wash my shirt and wear it again (probably won't be for another day that the pic gets up).

I think what Lono says is true, what set RB6V out from the crowd was the locations (blowing people's heads off next to slot machines in full tactical gear just looks so cool)
but in the new one its just "meh".

Lono's rant was great! I couldn't help but laugh at it. Lono, R6V2 is awesome, I love it, but that is just my opinion. There are better assault rifles than the 552 Commando too, it just takes practice.

You know that R6V1 are coming. After all these complaints? It would kill them not to.
