I just beat the English version the other day and man was this game awesome. I only wish the KH psp game could be like this, sucks they decided to change it to a card based battle system like Chain of Memories =/

Anyway has anyone else picked this up yet?

They said the KH game was going to have CoM style elements, but that the base game will still be the same as the PS2 ones...

I'm ordering Crisis Core on Monday.

I haven't actually got a PSP although I want this game because I loved the battle system in FFXII which is similar to this one but this one is so much more fun. I loved FFVII and I will love this game.

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core is not out in the UK yet, but I will be buying it on launch day.

I got it last Sunday. I'm about 14 hours in and damn, it rocks. I can't compare it to KH, as I never played any of them, but it's a kickass prequel to the original.

This game is good

I don't think so.
If you had played FFVII and liked it, you are almost certain to like Crisis Core. But being that Crisis Core is the prequel to FFVII, I think it would be safe to say you can play Crisis Core, and then if you want to continue the story, then play FFVII.

I myself loved Crisis Core because it fills in the story of what happens prior to the events of the original game, and answers some questions that it had left (while bringing up a number of its own... :huh:)

I saw my friend playing this and it made me want a PSP again. I'll probably cave and buy one in the next couple months.

I just bought a PSP and Crisis Core last night. I've played for about 2 hours now and it's good so far. I just need some more time to be able to put into it and hopefully it'll keep up the pace it has established so far.

I'm really diggin the game. I'm 20+ hours in and I'm close to the story ending. I think its a must play if you are a FF VII fan. It does a great job as a prequel.

i'm only a few hours in... the scene where sephiroth, angeal, and genesis are fighting in the simulator made me put the game down for a few minutes and collect myself (after changing my pants). that may have been one of the best FMVs i've ever seen...

though i've only seen 2 summons and both of them completely blew me away!

They say typically around 15-20. I finished mine in 16 hours, but and that was without doing any of the side missions (of which there are plenty)

Looks like it will be worth importing then :D

The more I'm playing this game the more I'm loving it. I suggest it for all fans of the FFVII.
