As each day is 1 more day closer to a release of SCII, with that said every once in awhile the main website reveals units. Some which we know at heart and brand new ones we may come to love.
The recent addition of AH/G-24 Banshee reminds me of something I've read. The game will not only bring some new units as well as some old with improvements, but they unfortunately will not have some returning.

Seeing the Banshee makes me think that the iconic ship used for the original Starcraft shortcut on our desktops will not be returning =(. It looks like a hybrid of the Wraith and Valkyrie with cloaking ability. This unit is used for air-to-ground combat.

Quick question for you people. Do you feel dissapointed that some units will not be making a return to Starcraft 2?

sc2 looks like a good game, but they took out some of the things that made sc1 such an awsome game, like now the protoss voices sound terrible, theres no wraith, and the goliath looks crappy.

I got to spend some time playing it at Blizzcon and when you play it it feels just like playing SC1 in all the good ways. There are some new units but all the basic abilities from the original game are all there. I don't think starcraft fan will be disappointed by the game when it comes out.

From what I have seen so far it don't bother me one bit. I was blown away by the demonstrations of late to the point that I drool just a lil even saying Starcraft.

Yea, SC2 is supposed to be awesome. But I'm wondering what I'd rather get.

I'm not too sad about it. It looks like its going to be pretty phenomenal. Plus, beggars can't be choosers. Would you rather have no Starcraft 2? </sarcasm>

People have been waiting for SC2 for years... and more years... and Blizzard's reputation says they won't let RTS lovers down due to the fact that they've owned that genre for years.

New units, old units, doesn't matter to me as long as the game is full of strategy and bnet :)
