Those pesky numbers. No matter how much you try to tempt them, they just don't lie.
Today, Sony 'revised' its target of 380 games by March to 145 games for the U.S. That's 105 boxed titles and 40 PSN offerings.
They went on to say that "380" was the number of games it planned to have in place worldwide.
Oh. I see. Nothing like getting everyone's hopes up and then squashing them "like bug".

I totally called this. ;D
BTW, technically this was not a lie and honestly I'm not 100% sure the content of his original statement... he could've been quoted slightly out of context (they thought he was referring to North American games when he was referring to their global release numbers)

I heard that... of course you realize the 380 number is still valid (in the correct context) and that the mistake could've entirely been the reporter's fault and not any kind of intentional slight by Sony, right? Okay, now on with the funny. ;D

I would be happy with ten more games by march, it's going to take a good one to get me off forza though.

I don't fully agree with those opinions. Forza is interesting and amazing - but when you're playing it more than 3 hours you just get bored. Because it's ALL THE SAME. There graphics are nice, but you can't actually notice it, because most of the races you play consist of constantly seeing:
1) your car
2) opponents' cars
3) the track
No trees, buildings, and all people are 2D! It's just like in boxing games in 1999, when all the audience was two-dimensional.
I know the tracks are based on real ones, but they could've put something like in PGR to make it more compelling. And I'm sure that on real tracks you'll never meet a 2D guy, so they'd better make them 3D in a patch or the forthcoming Forza 3.
