Whenever I ask people what their favorite Battlefield game is, usually it is BF2. But sometimes the oddities say Vietnam and I want to slap them across the face.

I dunno. I'd prefer BF2 but I'm up for anything. Not sure we have enough PC gamers to get things started.

As far I can see - there's only 5 people who played battlefield.... seems bad for me. No war for now..

P.S. Actually I think that BF2 is best. But I'm playing BF2142 - so i voted for it.

Battlefield 1942 is quite easily the best... I still play it more than Battlfield 2, which takes second...

1942 is one of my most favorite games ever...

Tough I really enjoyed and was into BF2 and 2142. If someone gets a SG BF night going I might just have to reinstall.

I got BF2 and have tried all those BF games. I like BF2 the best, when i heard it went to 360 i was like "SWEET" then when i played it i wanted to change the name because it was a disgrace to Battlefield games. It was NOTHING Batttlefield.

I'd be up for a BF2 game though (havn't played it in a while) but my computer can't read my cd's anymore so i'm going to have to get that fixed first.

I got them all my favourite has to be bf2, purchased it this year and get really into it in about 5months i managed to get to First Sergeant playing wars with a respected netherlands clan. I play bf2142 for fun from time to time. In the present I alternate between counter strike source and bf2 and in near future from october 10 with team fortress 2 :@

Bad company looks cool. But it is nothing like the PC battlefield series. Hopefully it will be a good game in its own right.

I loved 1942, loved BF2 even more and still liked BF2142, though I'm a bigger fan overall of the modern day setting.

Bad Company looks friggin' awesome, too. The level of destruction is simply breathtaking. And being able to use that in MP... that'll just be priceless.

All we've seen so far is the single player... I'm pretty sure Dice said that they're going to keep the same multiplayer as the PC games...

Yeah, I don't really care about the graphics, I can live with 1942-quality graphics so long as there are those realistic destructible environments. I played through the BF2 maps many times thinking "Now if only I could blast through this wall..." And now I finally can. Can't effing wait.

while i think BF2 is the best, honestly vietnam is a close second for me. i really really liked the only thing that brings it down for me is something that's present in ALL battlefields; being able to see an enemy's name in red above their head. the difference in games and why it brings BF:V down so much is because so much of the game requires you to be in the bushes and when you can see an enemy 1 mile away through thick foliage.
