psp or rockband... I really don't know, I mean RB is fun, but I can use my psp with my ps3... I am at a loss... I need opinions!

get the psp, i mean it is a whole new system. plus you can take it places :)

Btw the psp > PS3 connectivity isn't that great. If you can, pick up a psp that is homebrew capable so you can use remote play with your PC which is sweet. You can have psp games on your pc and play them on your psp wireless which is awesome and you can play ANY PS1 game on your psp.

Rock Band sucks. I wouldn't recommend it. The alternative, though, seems like a good choice.

Hmm...a game or a console. Doesn't seem like a choice at all....get the console. Patapon, God of War: Chains of Olympus, GTA: Liberty City and Vice City Stories, MGS and lot more on the horizon.

PSP, my friend got one and I hope to get one eventually, if you were a fan of Guitar Hero, Rock Band may be a bit of a let down, for one the guitar is insanely easy, and two hammer-ons can be hard to see when it does get tough.

Get the psp slim. The psp has some great games at cheap prices, most of my psp collection cost less than £10.00 per game.

It's well worth buying a psp just for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7,that game is going to be awesome.

Now is the perfect time to get a PSP. I'm personally waiting on the God of War bundle - then I'll be picking up Patapon, and heading back into the library to get the best of the best.
While they don't have the highest number of great games, they have enough at budget prices now, with more on the horizon.

I voted PSP, lots of good games just came out or are coming out for it. If you have friends that go over to your house very regularly though Rock Band might be more fun.

That is what I was thinking...the only games I have for when friends come over are CoD4 and Warhawk...and 2 controllers, I still am kinda torn, but leaning towards psp...screw friends!

I agree... console vs game... get the damn console if you really must ask such questions.

psp as you can do alot more with it (its also not another mass of peripherals to have) and it has more variety of gameplay!

lol yea i did the same thing. rock bands caught up big time since i last looked and no ones posted like any rock band supports. wierd

So add two votes to the psp poll if possible.
