I have an actual playswitch question--it might be obvious, but where do I enter the coupon code so SG gets credit for my signup? Will it appear after the actual 'submit registration' page?

On the right side of the page (if you are on your game list.) click "buy switchbucks" and theres a enter code thing there. I think you still have to fill out the info, Im not sure I have not done it yet.

I completed my first trade today. I mailed my game out on the 12th and got my new game on the 14th. Very good service, just make sure when you agree to trade your game and only get switchbucks in return that you still have to pay for shipping. The price I paid for shipping 1 Xbox 360 game via USPS was about $10.00(ish), so getting only 10 switchbucks for a game is kinda a bad deal.

what? it should cost less that $2, what did you mail it in?, i mail the individual games that i sell in 6x9 bubble mailers(get them at walmart, post office, etc.)

The packaging was only like $2.00, but gameswitch wants the mail to be sent USPS first class with tracking number.

It should not cost 10.00 to ship one game domestic. The most I've paid for shipping a single game is about 3.00, and that includes 50-60 cents for the bubble mailer and first class and DC. When I sold a lot of stuff on half.com and amazon, I bought a roll of kraft paper, a thing of good tape, and a box of bubble wrap; I can make my own packaging, it's much cheaper than bubble envelopes (unless you buy them in quantity), and can fit almost anything from a CD to a big DVD box set (I wouldn't trust something like the Buffy or Angel sets with this, however, I'd use a box).
I think my last six pack of mailers cost 2.75 or so, the more you buy the more you save.

MR. DO IT YOURSELF , i would just go with the bubble mailers(easiest thing)

Yeah, I recently started using the bubble mailers. The advantage to the DIY was when I sold lots of things of different sizes and shapes, but recently I've been trading/selling only CDs or CD-sized games, or Ps2/360 games which are consistently sized.

is anyone else annoyed on playswitch... i mean i want to get rid of my copy of gears of war, the copy i only played for like 10 hours and bought at near full price... but i don't want switchbucks in return i want cash, because if i get switchbucks i'll never get ahold of a new game with them

that's just how the site is set up, for me playswitch is only good for buying and trading, if you want to sell just go to ebay

Well, evryone is really excited about the fact that it's our first sponser, so they desereve a decent size advert, simply for supporting us. It would be nice, however, if they could open up subsidiaries of the service in Oz.

Are we still being supported by playswitch.com, or what's the deal with them?

They purchased a set amount of advertising that ended at a specific point. That point has come and gone.

what the hell?

The impression I got was that they still technically support us, but the advertising they purchased on the podcast has run out, and they have not purchased any more.

Does that answer all the questions?
