I sold my Kane and Lynch to a person at work for $40...I had bought it 2 weeks before $60.

I for one actually love Army of Two, and 'bedazzling' my secondary pistol <3

It's just fun to co-op own random terrorists. xD

EDIT: And thank you guys, personally, for making me feel like I'm not the only gamer out there that does not have a Wii!

You guys really made me feel pumped up for the T-Shirt Rock Band Chance <3

Geez, I should become a gambler. I love chance things. xD

Good show

Brawl is not just a 4 person fighter it has a 7-8 hour story mode with cinematics that involves lots of platforming. Its a great game you really shouldnt bash it having never researched it or played it.

Not really jumping on the Brawl bashing bandwagon but I must say as an owner of a Wii who would like to find more games worth buying on the Wii, I just have no interest in Brawl - I don't see the appeal. Not saying its not good, just that I don't any reason to interest me.

Having played some more, I think I was a bit harsh on Army of Two at first - but that was because up till then I had been playing in split screen, which I still don't like. This makes the whole non-working across the pond thing that much more of a problem.

Nobody on the podcast, in case you didn't know, (we haven't made a secret of it) none of us own a Wii... -Doc

Then maybe you should get someone on there that does...;) For at least one episode.

It's the same exact game that came out three years ago on the gamecube! -Lono
It's the same system of gameplay, yes. It has some of the same characters, yes. They've packed this with tons of new features (including online play) that make this game worth buying again. Now, tell me how the Halo games are any different, other than the fact that Halo had online play from the beginning. It took both Halo and SSB the third iteration to add in a level editor.

By the way, it's a 3d fighter game, not 2d. The graphics have improved a lot since the last game, too. Not to be a fanboy...but I am! :D SSB is a hit-or-miss game. If you don't like it, you don't like it. If you love it, then you love it. It is still a very social game (although everyone is angry with Nintendo for not including online chat, including us fanboys). I got a group of about 6-7 people together for a day and we did nothing but play SSB: Melee and eat, basically. We also had the cake from Portal (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m276/ploogle/portalcake_notalie2.jpg)...

If you ignore me completely, please just remember the cake, at least. :p

Good entry... but I have to agree with alot of people on Brawl... it actually has a plot! *gasp* which is half of why I got it.... the other half... well I figure $50 now is cheaper to find out if I have to fix the machine for free then if I get a game on Dual layer later and find out I need to and they ask me to pay for it. (Who knows what the future holds if you dont fix it now.) Thankfully, Im not one of the lucky ones who need the fix, so it's all good. :)

LOL Nice post Poogle. Hey guys, I'd like to say I really enjoy your show, you help me get though my day (Network Admin for a school district). You have great discussions and have realistic views a pretty much all your games. I just have to say that not playing a game you’re talking about and then ripping on it is kind of a downer.

If you don’t like the game that’s fine but you should really play though it and get a good understanding of the game. I don’t think it deserves that much negativity. Also to quickly sum up why many of us were excited over this game was the pure nostalgia that this game brings. Game characters we haven’t seen in years make a new appearance in a new game…bring back some good memories. Thank you

Pit, King Dedede, R.O.B (Who saved the video game industry (http://archive.gamespy.com/articles/july03/25smartest/index22.shtml)), yeah. Most of those were before my time, but old = cool.

Yeah, the Subspace Emissary adds about 7-9 hours of gameplay with a basic story. It's nothing special, but it's the first real story that the series has had.

Doc, ViaTrophy does not have the best connection (no offense via, luv ya!), i even get lag when playing online with him.

Had a few transatlantic co-op matches, with no troubles, GRAW2, GEARS and Halo3 to name a few.

Good update show guys.

I think Smash Bros Brawl looks very good, it's the type of game you could spend hours on just fighting three friends.

It's definitely been a featured podcast in the UK since last year some time, at least in the videogame section.

The one thing I don't get is how they do the rankings. On one page you'll be listed as no 9, then click on the 'top podcasts' section and you'll be listed at no 12.
