Are ubisoft serious? Assassin's creed on the DS? It's crazy. It worked on the ps3 and the 360, but how will this work on a handheld? (Edit. This is rhetorical.) The thing is, this game probably will sell though, that's what is the strangest thing about this.

I have the game and I already completed it.

I found it quite fun, just don't expect a straight console-to-handheld port.

It will probably be... not the same... I don't know anything about it but it'll probably be pretty watered down from the original.

(^above^) what is it like? is it less repetitive?

Ubisoft.... I expect nothing good of them from the beginning... so that they did descent with one title, I dont expect any ports of it to be worth crap.

Are you implying that Ubisoft doesn't put out good games?

It's actually more skimmed down, and the freeroaming style of the console game is pretty much non-existant. You are given directions on where to go, and there's only one way to do it. Just think of it as a Prince of Persia-esque deal.

Sucks bad.

Super mario 64 showed that the DS could handle platformers, but this doesn't match up to it's counterparts.

The only thing Assasins Creed had going for it was its looks on the DS it wont even have that.

oh come on. why does everyone hate this game, it was epic, and as for longevity, sure the plot sections were short, but hunting for all 100 templars was a great diversion, and the kingdom section was full of loads of well desgned areas to climb about on and to jump off to kill templars!

The company sure as heck pulled up alot of hype for this game just to let us all down. I even thought it might be a good game until i saw screen shots and watched the gameplay. What do gamers have to do to get a good game for the ds anymore?

I played through, reviewed it, and gave it a C+. Not terrible, but way to short and lacking in many aspects to be worth near 30 bucks.
