Then, when I bought my 360, I wanted the free month of Live, so I decided to create another Gamertag. I had no idea what I could name it, so I just opened a Pocket Polish-Latin Medical Dictionary, found "rectum inflammation", and used it (http://live.xbox.com/member/Proctitis).

Okay, back to business. In September 2003 I finally got an Xbox Live Starter Kit (headset, 1st year and full game of Tetris Worlds Live). When it came to picking a Gamertag, I wanted to go with "StFrantic" but someone already took it. Determined, I tried spelling "Frantic" with a "k" instead of a "c" and voila!

Over time, my friends just ended up calling me "Frantik" for short and when the Xbox 360 came around and introduced the opprotunity to change your Gamertag, I switched to "Citizen Frantik" after 3 years of being "StFrantik". From March 2006 to November 2007, I've been Citizen Frantik, Frantik O7, The Frantik, WTFrantik and RTN Frantik (RTN was an old Halo 2 clan that I was in). In November 2007, I became RTN SnowMan for awhile because during a GH3 tournament hosted by a rock station in AZ, the DJs kept refering to me as "The Snowman" because of my pale skin & "round" figure (I have albanism). When I changed to RTN SnowMan, my friends were uneasy since they always knew me as some form of "Frantik". Finally, a few weeks ago, I went back to "StFrantik" because I realized that's who I always was to begin with.

Well, my Gamertag, I got that from just random stuff such as the numbers and a random word that I saw when I looked around as I was about the enter it in. (It's a good way of picking lottery numbers as well, I'll have you know)

As for my name on SG, It's a book by Stephen King, and it sounded pretty cool, too.

Same as my screen name but I like to type. Originaly my GT was going to be Artemis named after the Greek goddes of Night and hunting and although she was not noted for it she also was very scornfull. Now since the proper spelling was taken and I refused to put o1 at the end I just switched the "i" to an "a"


The reason all of characteristics of her being female are hidden was due to my own mistake af leaveing my thumb on the word goddes hence removeing the "des". Although it's really not a big deal nor that funny a small group of people relentlesly antagonize me about it.

A lot of people always seem to want to know where I came up with my name, but I honestly have no clue. It was probably just something that popped into my head when I was choosing my XBL gamertag.

my gamertag was MgckSpiral1 until recently. I got the MgckSpiral from yahoo messenger, about 6 years ago. i tried "MagickSpiral" but it was already taken, so i abbreviated the word "magick" and came up with MgckSpiral. and the 1 came from me creating an xbox live gamertag, before i actually had xbox live. then when i finally got Live, i couldn't merge my offline gamertag, to my online one without losing my gamerscore. so i just added a 1 to the end. I got sick of people mispronouncing it. So now it's Patterson78, my last name and year i was born.

Well, back in the Counter Strike 1.6 days, I was a name that breaks that sexual innuendo rule. I joined a team down in my local internet cafe and we started to get really good, so good infact, we started entering (and winning) some leagues/tournaments. We then decided to try move on to bigger and better things, and it was agreed nobody would take us seriously with silly names, so we changed them.
We changed to ZaZa, Shorty, Syn and -APoc-. I was actually ZaZa, but when we stopped playing, I took on the alias Apoc because I hated ZaZa.
So, I pretty much stole my alias.

Mine is from either me of my mates trying to think of funny names to have so that when someone gets killed by you, it reads like a sentence. Eg, "You were killed by an-angry-postman", or "You were killed by an-angry-turkey", or "You were killed by a-flying-wiimote".

My other one, which is my forum name also, is from a long story that involves my dad, john solako, a piece of cod flinging off his fork, and his shirt pocket. I adopted it in tribute, and funnily enough, it actually links to call of duty (cod (codinthepocket)). This other "secret" link links to the psp, and the hopefully eventual reality that cod4 or 5 will be on the psp. (Correct me if it already is (COD4, not COD3 or COD2)

1) DS114: Back in highschool, I had a friend who had everyone convinced he was a nazi. It wasn't true, but it was funny to see the act. In any case, in science class, we were talking, and the swastika came up. Now as we talked, my mind wandered and it occured to me that almost every symbol meant to be squared off was almost always split into 4 repeating points... (might be true, might not, but that doesnt matter right now). I decided to make something based on 3.... just to be different.

Later, I got bored in English and began to take it a step further, and based on this new symbol, developed a number system based on 3 and 7. Out of curioucity, I looked to see what number the symbol itself was, and it turned out to be 114. I have used that as my number since. (This name was ONLY on Yahoo! chat back in the day)

DS, in this name comes from being too big a fan of Total Carnage (Doomsday Squad).

I have three screen names.

Firstly, there is HunterTyler. This was chosen because the guitarist from my band gave us all joke names "as if we were in a country and western band." My last name is Hunter, and so I used this for a while.

My gamertag is WylieC2. My middle is Wylie, the C comes from Coyote, as in Wylie Coyote. The 2 is pretty simple, WylieC was taken.

Peace Bunny is harder to explain. It basically started as an album name "The Adventures of Peace Bunny", which was going to be my first solo album name. The album never went ahead as I just didn't have time. Also, I thought of 'Peace Bunny' as a character to be a personified drug trip...a bit weird I know.

Anyway, I kinda liked the name and started using it for my political blog 'Peace Bunny Perspective', and then brought it into SG.

One night in college my buddies and I went to the local bowling alley. A lot of beer later we were finally ready to roll some thunder. My friend who was trying to type my last name into the machine was in a drunken haze... Drunken buffons love to type correctly... Well, I used to always play games under the name of Kenji Makamura until I started playing Call of Duty online, then I switched it over to Tirade as a double pun during the snow levels (Tirade pronounced Tie Raid, Tie Fighter raids) where I'd change the display name to "Nameless Stormtrooper #1, #2, #3" etc etc everytime i would die. But that became a horrible thing over the course of gameplay.

So when I got XBL, I decided to forego my SOCOM tags/name of Tropic Hunter and switched to Tispin, and after a grievous time with MS, I made a new Gamertag of SBeezs, which was inspired after the UK show Spaced, where Simon Pegg's character was named Tim Bisley, which is an homage to totally awesome artist Simon Bisley, so I extended the pronunciation and used the S to form ...

SBeezs.

And since many people online stopped trying to pronounce the whole thing, I became known as Beezs, instead of seabreeze or seabees. And here on SG, I am The Beezs.

I combined A Greek name with a Roman name and BAM Gilarus

I came up with the name DarkLegacy when I was 11 year old. That was 15 years ago. I used the initials DL in the arcade games that I played. DarkLegacy was a game named I used for early MMO's, CS, UT, etc as well as console games. If the name would fit anyways =P. That lasted up to around 2002. While the name was unique for so many years, I noticed in newer games & MMO's I was starting to join, other people started using DarkLegacy. I knew that day would come sooner or later so I would have to come up with something else.

Now we roll back to around 1998. From 1993 to 1998, my nickname in my neighborhood & Schools that I attended was DarkLegacy as well. In February of 1998, I started to date this girl in my High School. I was 16 & she was 17 at the time. The situation with this relationship was that she was a Latin Queen meaning she was in the gang called the Latin Kings. She was with them for about 6 years at that time so she had some seniority. Since I was " involved " with her, by there rules, I was automatically a Latin King. That lasted until I graduated from HS. Since that gang was more of a mix up of Kings/Queens from all over NYC, it wasn't a real set. It was easy for me to walk away. Within those two years though, my nickname changed from DarkLegacy to LatinLegacy. I was also called L2 or Elle Dos (L2 in Spanish). LatinLegacy stuck though & it was unique. No one in any game that I've played thus far uses that name. I made it my main gaming name in 2003. It's what I use for all of my Emails, messengers, Systems (Xbox Live - LatinLegacy, PSN - LatinLegacy), etc. That's pretty much the story =).

Around 6 years ago while creating a name for a different forum i didn't want to use my previous alias.I wanted my new name to have killer in it so i thought of different names such as "killingfrenzy" "SGT.Killalot" etc but i didn't like these and since i am a fan of the Batman animated series i included Night into the name and therfore created "Nightkiller93".
This has stuck with me to the present day and i use it for most things including MSN address,PSN ID,forum names,XBL username.

Its the nickname I've been using for years and years since Highschool. Think I was half asleep and just strung a couple words together.

Kingofall32, which is my all-purpose account name came about in Runescape. After two accounts were hacked I liked King of All, and 33 (3 being my favorite number) wanted Kingofall33. However, that was taken and it reccomended Kingofall32. Three years later, it lives on.

The name I use for all characters, Zurk, came from my sister (at the time 6-7) wanting a name for her Pokemon yellow guy and randomly yelled "zurk" and I liked it so I stole it.

My XBL came from Halo 2. Back when I sucked at xbox and didn't have one I played Halo 2 at this gaming thing. I used my friends cousins XBL, Mandebles, and suddenly owned everyone, being unbeatable within the 30 that were there. I then years later used "Mandibles" which is also a jaw, for good luck. I had to add on "X" (the tenth) because
1. Mandibles was taken
2. Everywhere I went I made new accounts, and probably made around 10 Mandibles ppl.

ever since i was 5 people have called me Rocko because they say i look just like "Rocky". Rocko's Modern Life was hands down my favorite cartoon growing up. So the nickname Rocko has been around for a long time, been my gamertag since day 1.

Butters was a high school nickname of mine, as it's a play on my real life last name, and the Lord and The First came from a high school teacher accusing me of being egotistical. I was already putting Butters as my name for his stuff, so on the next test I put my name as Lord Butters I, and I liked the name enough that it stuck.

Also, I've only had two people in history to realize that the I is a roman numeral (my name reads "lord butters the first") without me having to tell them.

For those of you who don't already know, my name is a reference to Final Fantasy IV. The character Tellah, a sage, is attacking the character Edward, a bard, who was in a relationship with Tellah's daughter. Anyway, due to a mistranslation, Tellah says; "You spoony bard!" This mistranslation was so popular it was kept in remade and retranslated versions of the game. (There have been 3, I think) My XBL gamertag has a 701 on the end because "SpoonyBard" was taken and the first three numbers of my Student ID in elementary school were '701'.

Corgoň IPA: ['tsɔrgɔɲ] is a statue situated in Nitra, Slovakia. It was created by Vavrinec Dunajský in 1820. The sculpture is a famous landmark and symbol of Nitra.

According to the local legend, the real person called Corgoň was a metalworker in Nitra. He was a mighty man of a stocky build, his arms were muscled in particular. Whenever he hit the anvil with a hammer, the whole upper town would quake. He influenced the history of his town when the Ottoman Turks besieged the Nitra Castle. The invaders were just about to climb the castle walls when Corgoň appeared straight from the forge. He started rolling down huge stones, which brought havoc among the Turks. However, what scared them off more than the stones was the gigantic and coal-black smoke-filmed face of Corgoň. Seeing him, they set off for an immediate run. He was believed to be seen extracting those huge stones from a slope assisted by evil spirits. That was how Nitra's upper town managed to survive the first Ottoman attack. The statue of Corgoň would embody the invincible power of this local metalworker forever. There is a simile applied to someone who shows great power in the area surrounding Nitra which says to be as mighty as Corgoň.

In the statue, Corgoň is depicted as Atlas. According to a Greek legend, gods punished Atlas for his wrong doings in a form of columns that he had to hold upright forever as to keep the sky from falling. Later on Atlas was depicted carrying a globe on his shoulders.

The artistic concept of the Atlas in Nitra lies in a symbolic holding up the entire floor, which might have its origin in a myth about Corgoň whose bravery kept the upper town safe from the Ottoman raids.
