you already now how good the game is. good for infantry lovers and theirs multiplayer rankings too.

i think this game was announced ahead of COD4. the nice thing about this is that it has destructable environment(houses, walls, trees, bushes, buildings, bridges) pretty much almost everything. plus, the battlefield series always let players fight in vehicles. supercool!

in my own opinion i think BFBC will own COD4.

too bad theres no BFBC for PC.

I can't wait for this game...an insta-buy for me...I am really excited about the destruction level...

Thinks are never completed destroyed on that game.
If you blow up a house there will always be its 'structure' still there,
Like a outline of the house.

I already intended on buying this game, It looks awesome.

I may rent it because it does look very good and it should be fun, but I don't think it will be the COD4 Killer

I've loved all the other Battlefield games, so I'll probably get this.

i'm pretty much a walking campaign against releasing FPS games for consoles only, so i won't be picking it up, no matter how good it is... i just can't bring myself to like them for consoles.... unless.....

unless i pick myself up a wireless keyboard and mouse for PS3... hmmm..

will BF:BC support a keyboard and mouse on PS3?

I hope it is the killer. R6V2 will try, but it won't happen then. This will be that game, if any can.

I was excited for bad company until I started doing research on the next red faction. COMPLETELY destructible environment, and sandbox gameplay definitely has my interest piqued.

They're trying to get the next Red Faction out before the end of the year, or else it'll be 09 before we see it. But I can wait, early shots and news is very promising.

So far from searching, gameinformer.com or the magazine has the best information so far for it. Volition hasn't updated their website or communities for it. The game was announced by THQ around the time GoW2 was announced.

If this game is the same as BF: Modern Combat, i wont get it. I was expecting that one to be like the PC BF2.

Im gettin BF the day it comes out. Multiplayer will rock! :) But I really wonder how this "destroy the enviroment" thing will be done in the singleplayer mode. I remember an interview with the creators of "Black" who promised fully destructible levels but when the game came out only a couple of walls and smaller things could be destroyed. Asked about that the programmers/developers of "Black" explained that they found out that it is nearly impossible to programm an AI that reacts to the change of enviroment. For example: What happens if a wall collapses and blocks a door/entrance the player has to pass to get to the next area? Where will the KI hide when the cover is blown? How do the AI opponents cross a road when it is blocked by big rocks?
I think they had a good point...Its not easy to find a game where the AI acts really "clever"...sometimes they are to dumb to take cover or to realise that you are right behind them-so how the hell will an "AI" be able to look for an alternative way or even start climbing collapsed walls?
I think destruction might work fine and as promised in multiplayer mode but in the singleplayer campaign?-forget it! :)
