I wanna get Army of Two, but I'm not sure if it's sponge worthy.
It seems really cool, But is it worth $60?
Opinions? (preferably from people who've played it)

probaly not spongeworthy. this game was delayed for months because it looked aweful. but they've really improved a lot of things since the first gameplay videos. the co-op will be a fun experience and im sure multiplayer will have enough stuff to keep you busy for a while. im personally not going to buy cause im spending this month's game money on condemned 2 and mlb 08 the show. However, i definatley going to rent and if i reallly enjoy ill buy it from gamefly.

But yeh back to army of two, when they first sent it out to reviewers, ive heard it was the worst thing ever created, not even finished, so now after going back and basically finishing it, reviewers have been impressed and like it alot, but after the first problems, i'm not that excited :P

Seems decent, but that's about it.

I think I'll just save up for another DS Lite instead.

I bought it and have been playing for about two hours now because I just got my Xbox back from MS. Right off the bat it looks great in my opinion, the aggro system is kind of cool, and the weapon upgrades are nice (for $10,000 you can pimp your weapon out to give it a gold finish, diamonds, and so on). On the downside the AI kind of sucks, your partner isn't very good at actually hitting people. Also the parachute and back to back are only at certain parts so you can't just go into back to back because you want to. The training at the very beginning is very sparse in my opinion, for instance I'm still trying to figure out how to melee people. Other than that I don't have much to say at this point.

I'm going to just Gamefly it. I've been waiting for this game for ever since I read about it in GI. I've been playing Co-op games with my bro for years now, but we've never really found one that's been as good as Contra 3. The Halo Trilogy is about as close as it's gotten. We were going to play Kane and Lynch, but after what happened to Gerstman and the poor reviews it got, there's no way. Basically, is it worth my time and more importantly my money or am I better off waiting until Rainbow Six Vegas 2 comes out? Thanks guys.

Its pretty good. The back to back thing is the most fun ever.

Having played it co-op for a few hours today I'd have to say its average. Its got some nice touches like the back-2-back but generally it still feels broken in places. Its very dis-jointed, oddly paced and the controls aren't that great.

I really liked it. It was fun to play with a pal. The servers seem to suck ass though. I haven't been no lagged out of a versus game yet.
