If you read gaming news you already know that these cats over at Talismoon are selling a little circuit board thingie that can give you tilt/motion control on an Xbox 360 Controller.
My favorite part about all of this is that it costs 40 bucks... plus controller (60 bucks)... plus something to solder things with.... Yep Solder.
You have to break open your 60 dollar controller and start soldering things.
On what planet is this useful? If they're lucky they'll achieve a .0000001 percent market penetration. Then what? What developer in their right mind is going to take the time and effort to build any compatibility with this device into their games.
This product, while innovative, has the practical appeal of adding a parachute to the top of my car in case I drive off a cliff. It ain't happening.
I asked Gamerscoreblog's Chris Paladino for his thoughts, and in typical (Brilliant) MS fashion, he answered me with a question.
"Do we need that?"
No we don't Chris. No we don't.
