The Telestrator is one of those rare features that warm my heart. It makes me think, for once, that gone are the days of EA ripping me off with useless gimicks in their sports' franchise updates. Finally there is a game mode where we can (~*drum roll please!*~) draw all over our replay videos with squiggly white lines. It's a feature that truly unlocks the Wii's processing power potential, launching us into a new era of sports video games. No more will you and your buddies sit around the living room and play intense rivalry games that count towards your franchise points, braggin rights, and reputation. With Wii Madden's new Telestrator feature, you and your bros will want to sit around the TV and draw squiggly white Johnsons (or Peters, mushroom tops, or one eyes snakes. Do you appreciate the picture I'm drawing for you in this scenario?) all over Terrell Ownes' face. Want to be Madden for a game? Go for it! Impress your friends by prophetically drawing the routes your wide receiver just ran and add useless, obvious, and painfully redundant commentary.
Think you'll get tired of the Telstrator in less 5 minutes? I do. But that's no problem, because Wii Madden brings back NFL trivia, a fan favorite from games like NFL Blitz on the Nintendo 64. Press up, down, or left and right in this exciting gameplay option in Wii Madden 08's new party mode.
