Yes, I'm posting about a PSP firmware update in the PS3 forum... mainly because the PSP part is "meh extraordinaire" while the PS3-related aspect definitely speaks to the rumored "Firmware 2.0" being imminent"
A lot of early speculation pointed to October 30th as the day Firmware 2.0 would be released. The EULA v2.0 takes affect today, Tuesdays are common firmware release dates for the PS3, the PSP just got a firmware update last night that frequently precedes a feature-related PS3 firmware update, the Blu-ray enhancement comments (Blu-ray players released after Oct 31st are required to support Profile 1.1 which would indicate a necessary firmware update for the 40GB PS3s), etc.
And I love the typo... support for PSN titles has been "expended"... *LOL*
