Halo 3 edition Xbox 360-
I think it was Doc who mentioned that it was just going overboard with all the other halo 3 merchandise coming out of Microsoft.

But here's what it really is meant for, It's $400, comes with an HDMI port, and a plug and play cord. So basically, if you don't want the 120g HDD but want an HDMI port, this is the console that is for you. It's also decked out with awesome Halo art, but that is an opinion :D

MSN Messenger keyboard-
When you guys talked about "What's the point of even having the messenger on your xbox when you can just do voice chat?" or "Why even have an internet browser, if you can just go on your computer?"

Well, why not? For me, my xbox is downstairs using wireless internet connection, well away from my computer. I use my headset to talk to my friends on XBL. But like many gamers, I can't be on the computer and xbox 360 at the same time. So I was thrilled when I learned I would be able to talk to my buddys who are on the computer, while I play my games. I would love it if they put an internet browser... it would make things so much easier for me.

honestly, having msn messanger would just distract me from gaming. i dont know what the notifications are when you get a message but it would get annoying and i just do it on my computer. They talked about the alternative to this in the podcast. what was it.... voice or sumthing.

But does everyone on the PC have a microphone? No. I talk to my buddies on XBL with my headset while I type to by buddies on the PC with my keyboard.

What did I say... I can't talk to my buddies and play XBL at the same time because my computer is 150 feet away from my xbox.

Answer this please, WHY not have MSN messenger on the xbox?

In my opinion, its becoming too chaotic. i get messages so much on xbox. like ill get a voice message then i have to go click messages then listen to it. By that time i will have died. i play games that are very action packed. but another message client where i have to go to windows that overlay my game window. i just dont want it. but thats just me. I'm sure there are people that will want it im not doubting that.

My question is; Why do they have to Fool us with the Crappy controller Keyboard??? When we can just use our normal everyday keyboards, of course it'll have to be a Usb one..I mean if you buy the Controller keyboard then your going to have to go buy a headset that goes with it.The ones we currently use isn't going to work on it. Have you seen the input? I'm not saying havening Msn is a good idea or not. What I'm saying is, is not to have companies screw us over with garbage.... This is just my two cents though.

yea, for $30 you can get a pretty damn good keyboard that could also be used on your PC...

ya me and tianam were just talking on msn n he uses his pc keyboard for msn on xbox. just as long as its a usb. you dont need to spend that extra 30$

Yes, I would rather have this mini keyboard on my controller so i can easily type to my friends (On PC!!!!) instead of having to hold a massive keyboard that's bigger than my xbox on my lap

Wheres it connect to your controller at? I usually play with a plug n play cord because i didn't buy those battery packs that are rechargeable......

I think a voice to text app would be nice. Though that might take longer than typing it since you have to wait for it to analyze every word.

Well not everyones PC is that close. Some of us use wireless routers because the TV we play games on is in a different room. My computer is on the other side of the house from my 360 so it could be useful to some people.

Personally I don't use it because I use AIM as my chat program...

Well, I got a wireless router with a laptop.So I can just take my pc with me.No need for any keyboard for me.Though I do see you guys points, but come on...I think they could of came out with something better and for $30 that just doesn't cut it.

I can't use it anyways. I set up my xbox live account as a child account...wooops :\ so Child accounts cant sign up for it. Can u make it a non-child without having to remake the whole thing?

The keyboard comes with a microphone. Also, the Keyboard has a input on it for a headset.

Headset = $20

So the keyboard is actually $10 if you think about it, but about everything Microsoft makes comes with a headset so... yeah. I'll now have 3 wired headsets and 1 wireless one...

Vision camera- Headset
Xbox- Headset
Keyboard- Headset

Chatting while gaming isn't that hard to think of is it? Imagine playing a game of Gears of War you die early on in the round, instead of watching the other people for 45 minutes, why not pull up the menu and send some messages to friends?

Well, there isnt a 45 minute game in Gears. so that wont happen but i see what you mean.

Actually, it's true...Under Age(Including me) got Owned there.Thats why I got to whip out the laptop.

Ther is no way to fix it if you are under 18! this sucks oh well.
