There was no time, Lono's review of Resistance 2 pretty much takes up the whole show, haha. But he makes some very good points.

Interesting... Now I hope that this thing can die down... I don't want to be listening to the next 3 podcasts having lono defend his opinions... I think he's ranted enough for now...

I LOVE this review! Seriously, is it bad of me that Im listening to this, and all I can think of is my experiences between Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2.

Seriously. We waited a week for the original song. Then it was 2, and we had to wait another few days. Now it's up to 3 songs, and we're waiting another week! At this rate, we'll be getting 7 new songs in January...

I want to be excited for a new parody song, but I don't want to get too excited or else Doc will delay even more! :sad:

That was one of the best rants I've ever herd, Lono. Hilarious. As for fanboyism, has anyone considered for an instant that it might be an accurate representation of the game? And that he indeed wasn't blatantly lying about Resistance 2? Or that his opinion isn't effected by a toaster?

I find most of Lono's rant to be greatly exaggerated (enemies only shooting at you, ugly intro cinematics, other friendlies do no damage, only one way to go, you're the only person who can shoot rocket launcher/aka progress the story etc). Non of what he said is game-breaking, and can be easily applied to most of the other big name titles in this holiday season.

I agree that the game's single play could use a lot more polishing and improvement, but Lono's rants are just quite unfair and obviously biased. All the people who loved the rant, I'm hoping you're loving it for the comic relief or you've never played the game before.

Oh and, an entire episode dissing a console/game, really?

On topic: It was disappointing not to hear the song. I was waiting to hear it. I guess we'll have to wait. I loved Lono's review. If all his reviews are humorous like that, he should have his own section on the red show for reviews.

I will not be getting Resistance 2 anytime soon, because I know that Lono is speaking the truth.
When someone says that last year was horrible for the ps3, I will agree, even though I own a ps3.
As a ps3 owner, I know the 360 is a great console with great exclusive games, and I will probably get one sometime soon
I can honestly say that even though MGS4 is the best game I have played in recents years, it is only for the fans, because the cutscenes are too damn long if you´re not used to them.

I'm not going to be fanboyish but I HAVE played Resistance 2 and everything Lono says is true. I like your podcasts because you always justify anything you say about a game, unlike other podcasts I could mention. I'm pretty sure that in a few years time the PS3 will be amazing, when it starts getting good games out. Make no mistake, LBP looks amazing and so does MGS4, and once the PS3 gets a few more decent games (and Home, where is Home?!) I will buy one. But right now I think that the 360 is the better console.

well...every time someone buys a ps3 sony loses money if they dont buy any games so I would say that any company that LOSES money when someone buys their product isint doing well.
