It was my first gaming sytem I played. OtherOne 10-20-2007, 11:12 PM SNES - first system I ever owned and donkey kong still looks good whenever I go back to it to relive childhood memories. Worst...hm, maybe the saturn? I mean, it was an alright system but there were pretty much only 1 or 2 games I ever really played on it. Chexd 10-21-2007, 01:39 PM Well, im not sure if i have had too much experience. So out of my limited choices I would have to say the Psone as my favourite (grew up with it - sentimental) and perhaps the worst was the Gamecube. But like i said...probably not had the greatest deal of selection. MadMikeMan 10-21-2007, 04:57 PM I loved the 64, but then I drownded in mario and since then I have a fear of video game water, in oblivion I'll only dive uunder for a few seconds and would rather take the long way to the bridge than a quick swim accros the lake. I have the same problem. I can't stand being anywhere near water in a videogame. I sure did have a hard time fighting that lake monster in Resident Evil 4 and that giant eel in Shodow of the Colossus.:( MadMikeMan 10-21-2007, 05:36 PM I have the same problem. I can't stand being anywhere near water in a videogame. I sure did have a hard time fighting that lake monster in Resident Evil 4 and that giant eel in Shodow of the Colossus.:( well, I love video game boats, those are always fun to have a boat battle, even if it's with a 100 foot lake monster. and I do better in some games than others, like gta is no problem, and halo is easy, oblivion and a few other games I can't think of are a no. rasenganchidori 10-21-2007, 07:59 PM worst??? isnt it obvious... The Virtual Boy, although i have great respect for Yokoi CrazyCanuck 10-25-2007, 02:26 PM My favourite console was easily the SEGA Nomad. Ffor those not in the know the Nomad is basically a portable sega genesis that could play all the genesis games and was about the size of two Game Gears duct tapped together. One of the first back lit portable handhelds this thing was gorgeus. At home I was able to use it as a console system, but for long road trips across country, there really isnt a much better way to spend 14 hours a day playing Vectorman or Sonic 2. My worst console was the gamecube, looking at that purple cube that only got playtime once every 6 months is a little depressing. And I have to give a special mention to the dreamcast only because it was one of my favourite console, but the terrible controller triggers literally made my fingers bleed (but dam was crazy taxi fun). Bono Hit My Car 10-26-2007, 04:15 PM NES ... I freaked my tiny little six year old boy titties when I opened that up at Christmas time. other favorites were Dreamcast and the PS1. I think my friends and I played Twisted Metal 2 until we puked, I loved that game so much. Worst gaming experience? Being raped by a 67 year old man while playing Mortal Kombat in a Wilwood, NJ at an arcade, just as Scorpion was saying 'GET OVER HERE!' Garwalker 12-14-2007, 12:18 PM My worst memories with games was back in the early PC gaming days with Windows 3.1. I was always scared buying a game and installing the 20 3.5 diskettes. Then you would try to launch the game and it never worked do to virtual memory or a bug. Windows 95 brought so much joy. JasonSoft 12-18-2007, 04:01 PM I miss my Dreamcast :( Diortem 12-18-2007, 08:57 PM Best: Shoggoth in Call of Cthulhu... CREEPY AS HELL and just makes you tense for most of the fight. Worst: I think one of the times I was playing with Starwars on a friend's atari as a REALLY little kid, the colors went all wrong and I seriously thought I broke it. Feanor 01-04-2008, 08:03 PM Favorite: Getting Dark Forces on the PC for the first time. Worst: My dad confiscating it because I wasn't getting my homework done. Chexd 01-04-2008, 09:27 PM Fave: getting a playstation for my 7th birthday 10 years ago. (Time flies!) Worst: the realization that my younger brother can beat me on any game in any genre forever and always! Artemis 01-04-2008, 10:27 PM Fav moment beating secret of mana Fav system N64 I still play 007 worst moment: Relizing that I can't posible unlock the very last level in 007 Worst system: none realy Feanor 01-05-2008, 12:59 AM The Playstation and N64 are considered retro now? Wow, you people make me feel like an old man. When I was starting out as a gamer, the best graphics and games were only on DOS. |
