The live broadcast is usually an hour or longer depending on the hosts' schedules. If it were up to me, we'd have a 3 hour show every week, but editing that down to 20 min is insane.

This isn't a competition. Everyone's podcast is great. Take notes from other people's podcasts and use them to make your podcast better!

Seriously, this community podcast idea is supposed to bring us together....so don't set out to "beat" the other podcasts.

Don't steal ideas, trash talk, etc.....It hasn't gotten to that point but it's heading down the wrong road!

What you hear on the feed is not what all goes on in the entire show. We usually have it last around an hour that includes some very nice discussions and community feedback. WE just have to be fair to the other shows and cut it down to 20 minutes for those who couldn't make it :thumbsup:

So really the 20 minutes is just a taste of the insanity that goes on during the actual podcast.

Welcome to the SarcasticGamer.com forums! I joke alot in these threads, and there aren't many posts on here that I take seriously. I know the Livecast has a good fanbase, and I know people like the Panda Watch. I don't see how playful banter is going to bring the idea that I want to "beat" your podcast or steal from it.

Even though this is basically a non-paid part time job for me, this is where I come to have fun and enjoy myself. I feel that joking around in these forums is a great way to interact with the community. If it's a serious thread, sure I'll hold back, but this thread was far from serious past the first post.

I do enjoy the livecast, particularly this "Waffleboy" chap. Seems pretty intelligent, I think he really brings a lot to the show.

Second favorite would have to be the Resonator. I don't know who the hell that Snaps fellow is, but he seems like a good lad.

I'll give you that one. I personally haven't listened to every episode of every show (shame on me!) But the multiple episodes I listen to of certain shows get better over time. By Episode 20 of each of these podcasts, we'll have quite an awesome group of hosts.

Thankfully, Panda Watch only records bi-monthly, so we have plenty of time to get as good at editing as they are :tongue:

Still, I went for PandaWatch, but it was hard, because Resonator is a really good show too. I think I went PandaWatch way because of the DonMarco bits, and some very good editing and professionalism throughout.
I have to give Resonator credit where it's due though, because theirs is great too. :thumbsup:

K, well, I don't really think that this is the correct way to change that fact. I've never had the extra time to sit down and listen to your podcast and because of your little tantrum here, I don't know if I will...

When you make your podcast, you really got to think "Why do people want to waist twenty minutes of their time listening to me". What can I do to make that person enjoy waisting their 20 minutes? If you're expecting us to GIVE you 20 minutes of our time, you have to GIVE us a reason to do it. With pandawatch, we try to give unique content. Like the interviews we do are f'ing hilarious. If you haven't listened to the Animathias interview from episode 3, stop reading this and go listen to it. You'll enjoy itl *Some* people really enjoy Don Marco and his talks of "eh-Spore", and The Gamestops, and more recently, kidnappers.

The resonator has awesome content as well. The achievements bit with the whole xbox achievement sound? Awesome!

I'm not suggesting you copy our content, but seriously, give us a reason to want to listen to you. On upcoming episodes of the pandawatch we have a couple new contests, which is what draws people back.

Be creative. Now here's a challenge to you guys. Brainstorm of something new, even ask your friends from xbox live or school or whatever. Brainstorm and come up with something that will BLOW OUR PANDA SOCKS OFF! Give us something good, then you'll get the people's respect. If you build it, they will come. :thumbsup:

In term of production quality the Panda Watch & Resonator have the same sound quality. But every single podcast is funny as hell.

The flow/production of Casual Core, Resonator, and Panda Watch are comparable/on par to the weekly features, and I hope we (read: 8bitbass) can reach the point where we can get 2 of those to weekly features.

Oh I read it. :) We are just about caught up with the SGCP, and it is great that you are enjoying these shows a lot.

I will try my best to get these shows out ASAP but remember that many of us get busy and sometimes cannot record enough to do a weekly show.

Resonator 2x a month is perfect for my schedule. (too many games to play:w00t:)
