Just wondering what games people are thinking of incorporating into their Extralife schedule.

You guys could've at least put the event back a week so LBP would've been available :P

I was JUST thinking about what games I should play during Extra Life!

I have a dilemma....I'm absolutely hooked on Rock Band 2 right now, but my stamina will deplete very quickly if I try to play that for 24 straight hours!

I'm thinking about splitting the day into multiple genres.

FPS - COD4
Action Adventure - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Sports: MLB08 - The Show
Music - RB2 (Who am I kidding, I'm going to HAVE to play this for a while)
Nostalgic - Some Goldeneye on my N64, maybe Ocarina of Time

I'm very excited about this effort. I may be able to figure out how to get work off, wife out of the house, homework done and actually attempt 24 full hours!

WoW is one of my games. I just signed up for Extra Life today and posted on our guild forums. We have about 60 people in the guild so I'm hoping to bring at least 20% of them in.

I'm unsure myself. I may begin (definitely not finish or I'll gouge my eyes out with my hands) another runthrough on Mass Effect (it's been a while). I'll probably get in some CoD4 games with the community, maybe Halo or GTA as well. Rock Band 2 is a must as well. I'll probably be borrowing Orange Box, maybe Bioshock (just because I've been wanting to play it), or some games I need to get more achievements in, such as the GRAW games and Crackdown. I also might get in some TF2 on the PC with any community members I can, and plan on grabbing some old/cheap/used games from Gamestop as well.

i was thinking 24 hours of nothing but Halo 3 but on the other hand, 12 hours of COD 4 and Halo 3 would be better.

I tried doing something with my guild today actually. If I play 24 hours, 20% of the guild has to sponsor me for at least $1 an hour

Patch 3.02 should be out for World of Warcraft by then, so I'll definitely put a few hours in there.
Rock Band 2 is definitely a choice that I'll be playing during the day while my voice holds.
If Fallout 3 is as good as people are claiming, that will also eat up a nice chunk of my playtime, otherwise I'll just spend some time in Oblivion.
Too Human is an awesome time-killer, and I could probably get some play time with the community, or even some of the other staff, which is always good times.
If I happen to pick up Saint's Row 2 before Extra Life kicks off, that would be a fun one to waste some time in.
I'm only going to resort to First Person Shooters like Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 if I absolutely get burnt out on other games. I'm just tired of them, and I can't put in enough time to be competetive like the people who play them 24/7. So it's very unlikely you'll find me online in a FPS on the 18th, but if you want Rock out or do some Stunts in Paradise City, I'll be up for it.

Right now, it looks like Crysis will be a part of the gaming time.... Im HOPING to see a group on the PC ready to play some Sins of a Solar Empire, and Im up for the Ship as well if we can get a group to play. Im also probably going to take some time in Phantasy Star Universe, since Im already active in that game.... and they finally have a mission or two that have my attention (and are not story missions).

Of course if anyone wants to gather some Quake Wars (PC), MarioKart Wii or Smash Bros, I can be in on that too.Hell even Hellgate London is an option if anyone wants to tag-team it. (Just let me know before hand... I want all the PC games that MIGHT be played installed the day before.... 24 gaming MEANS 24 gaming, not 24 gaming + waiting for installs)

Well, I might play some Halo 3 too, but that would require the renewal of my Live subscription, which I might have to do because I can't maintain a good connection with my router on my computer, so I can't play WoW for more than 10 minutes without disconnecting from my network.

I am fairly sure WoW will take up a lot of that time, and pretty easily I might add.

Also:

Wipeout HD
Dragon Quest IV
Soul Calibur IV
Megaman 9
Burnout: Paradise

And maybe:

Grand Theft Auto 4
Metal Gear Solid 4
Call of Duty 4
GT 5 Prolouge
Dead Space

Let's see...

Civilization Revolution: See if I can beat Lono this time if he's up to it. If not, I'll just see if anyone else is around.
Too Human: Got my Defender up to 26, still have some campaign to go (I got to the zombie things a little while ago), and then might make one or two more characters, see how far I can get.
Burnout Paradise: Loving it
Castle Crashers: Hopefully I can get 3 guys together and do the campaign (Hit me up!)
Viva Pinata: Trouble In Paradise: Picked it up (It was like 30 bucks and I had money on a edge card) for my niece, so I may play that for a bit. See if I like it.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2: Just started playing this again, and I really am enjoying it.
Orange Box: All about the Team Fortress baby!
Whiplash: Original xbox game. I picked it up to have something to do while I was rrod'd, and I want to finish it.

And whatever I'm in the mood for.

Mostly FFXI. By the way, go Team Limit Break Radio! Definitely some CoD4 and Rock Band will be in the mix there too.

I just recently picked up an xbox 360 wireless racing wheel and forza 2. Yeah, I know, it's an old game. But I'm loving it. Gonna be spending my time finishing up some of the endurance races and maybe trying some xbox live races if anyone still actually plays.

For single player I want to get a few achievements in orange box and DMC4 and hopefully Dead space. For PS3 Ill try and finish Ratchet and clank future. Multiplayer I'll bounce between COD4 ,COD5, and Halo3.
