Well in my opinion the ps3 will be better then the Xbox 360 in like 1-2 years. The ps3 has so much potential. If Sony can get things going good again then ps3 has ALOT of room to improve. I mean look at the ps2 the ps2 was a great system. Look how many good games it had and they are still selling systems. If Sony can duplicate the success that they had with the 360 then the ps3 will
be better then the 360.

BUT for now it is 360 all the way.

i think the admins should do some cleaning up with the new threads that have been discussed in 4 or 5 very recent, or are still being discussed in, other threads. like once a day go through the posts or something to catch people who sign up and don't read recent posts before making a new one.

maybe not... we could just state the same things over and over again in different threads, or we could just ignore these.

iam sure it will in the end, i mean look at all the elements they have to take into consideration from the 360s success, not that sony would need them to be a success iam sure they have many things planned. as a ps3 owner i really do hope it happens, iam tired of all these games being released on all platforms, whats the point of me buying the most expensive console if i cant get a shit load of exclusives, iam sure u agree.

It doesnt really matter if their were topics about this. The conversations are always going to be different. Keenith is just adding more to the forums, making them more lively. Whats the difference from bumping a topic between starting a new one thats about the same thing. I can see if their was like 10-15 of the same topics, but their are only a few topics that solely talk about this.

I would say that most conversations on the 360 VS PS3 topic devolve into the same stuff pretty quickly. Though I guess if you enjoy pointless circular arguments in which neither side gives or gains anything. By all means rock on :)

Okay, Keenith, you are certainly the last person to be commenting on a person's grammar, especially since Emophia was trying to back you up there. And for the love of god, the one thing that bugs me more than anything else about spelling and grammar on the web is the use of 'u' and 'ur' instead of 'you' and 'your'.

So, well I guess even though this thread was originally meant for something already posted about, I guess it's devolved into something not as talked about...I guess..

One last thing. I'm pretty certain 'people's grammar' is grammatically correct, although technically redundant. Gramatically speaking, it is still solid, as far as I know.

i think most people around here consider themselves fairly intelligent and sentences like that one really lower the bar, especially in the midst of a grammar conversation.

and on the record, emophia's sentence wasn't grammatically correct as it should have been peoples' instead of people's. :p

really though, i don't care about grammar on a video game forum... though sometimes i do correct my wife's grammar... man, she gets pissed!

Actually it is correct, since people is the plural form of person. It would be one thing if the word was "peoples'", as in a cultural group etc., but in this case "people's" is correct.

i have played both and the 360 has a greater sense of community and is more fun to play. admitedly the ps3 is the better system the 360 has so much to offer in terms of community and driving players to play with the ingenious achievemnt and gamerscore system. there isnt that on the ps3 so when i play on that i feel less like playing because i am not achieveing as much. the ps3 will be great and so will the 360 the wii will lose steam as more and more people realise that most of the games released are gimmicky and are really not worth buying. to be honest i dont care even though i just wrote my longest post on the subject

Why would I waste time posting facts when its my opinion. The question is opinion based. And when someone likes one system over another, 9 times out of 10, a person is not gonna change there mind. Different things about the system appeal to different people. Like the Wii appeals to you, the 360 appeals to me, and the PS3 appeals the CM Cameron and Emophia.

First off: Your topic comes off as flamebait. You're simply asking for people to attack each other which will piss off the moderators who will have to clean up the mess and it will divide the community. Two things I think we can all agree we don't want or need.

Second: This conversation has been going on since the PS3 and 360 were announced back at E3 2005! We're all really sick of it and in the end, it doesn't matter. I have a 360 and I love it. Others here have PS3's and they love those. Why does it matter which is perceived as "Better' by people you will probably never meet in real life?

Also, why does one have to be "better?" What's wrong with one console being preferred by some and another being preferred by another? That's what makes capitalism so great. As consumers, we're free to choose and only those options that are deemed worthy of our cash succeed and those that don't should fail but instead our government bails them out because they feel that everyone should win.

Third: When your post reads like a text message written by someone with first-grade education it makes you look dumb and few people will bother to read what you posted or take you seriously. I apologize if your native language isn't English, but if it is you need to study more and spend less time playing video games and posting on forums.

There will come a point in your life where you're going to want to be taken seriously. Could be you're applying for a job or seeking acceptance at a college or university and in either case poor spelling and grammar will hold you back.
